He estado pensando mucho tiempo sobre qué hacer mi primer post. La verdad es que hay muchas cosas de las que quiero hablar, pero no quiero empezar muy fuerte ni agotar mis cartuchos demasiado pronto. Lo hablé con Elana y me dijo "¿Por qué no hablas de tus nuevos esmaltes?" y yo dije, meh, hagámoslo.
Siempre he sido una amante de la manicura y de las uñas bien cuidadas y pintadas. No os confundáis, mi uñas son un desastre el 99% del tiempo pero me encaaaaanta pintarle las uñas a la gente y experimentar con distintas texturas y colores. Durante años y años me pinté las uñas de negro para ir a juego con mi look Dark-Gothic, pero de un tiempo a esta parte me noto cada vez más entregada a colores extraños como naranjas, plateados, púrpuras o amarillos.
La marca Milani Cosmetics no la podemos comprar por nuestra zona, así que Elana y yo decidimos hacer una petición conjunta a EEUU para que nos saliera baratito el envío. Estuvimos dudando nuestros colores y al final me decidí por amarillo chillón "Totally 80´s" (para hacerme un total look Beyoncé en Telephone), un azul brillante "Blue Dude" y, cómo no, mi adorado morado/púrpura "Rad Purple" (tengo tantos púrpuras que un día debería de hacer un post dedicado a ellos en barra, sombra de ojos y esmalte).
Los colores son tan brillantes como parecen en fotos, pero tengo la sensación de que la textura varía según el color. El azul es un esmalte más denso que con 2 capas escasas cubre sin problema. El púrpura y el amarillo (especialmente éste último) son más líquidos y por un motivo que desconozco requieren unas 3-4 capas para quedar bien. El resultado es bueno con cualquiera de los colores bien aplicados.
La duración es MARAVILLOSA. Recalco ésto porque hace poco compré un esmalte de Chanel porque tenía un color fabuloso (púrpura, jijiji) y a los 2 minutos de aplicarlo ya estaba roto por todos lados. A las 24 horas ya no parecía esmalte sino roña. Mucho Chanel mucho Chanel pero los esmaltes NO los recomiendo.
La relación calidad precio está muy bien. No ocurre como con los esmaltes de Carlo Di Roma que se llevan media uña al intentar despintarlos y valen 4,99 dólares (sobre ¿4? euros).
Conclusión: Pros y Cons
Pros: buena relación calidad precio, buena duración, colores vivos
Cons: demasiadas capas según el color, disponibilidad

I´ve been thinking a long LONG time about what should I post about. Truth is that there are tons of stuff I wanna talk about, but I don´t wanna come on too strong or waste all my make-up amo too soon. I talked about it witth Elana and she said "Why don´t you talk about your new nailpolishes", and I repplied meh, let´s do it.
I´ve always been a mani-pedi lover. I just enjoy watching people´s painted or well treated nails. Do not be mistaken, my nails are a total mess 99% of the time but I looooove doing people´s nails and experimenting with different textures and colors. For years and years I painted my nails black to match my Dark-Gothic look, but for a while now I feel a deep attraction towards weird colors such as orange, silver, purple or yellow. Japan is kickin me hard!
Milani Cosmetics is a brand we cannot buy here, so Elana and I decided to ask for some stuff from the US to get a cheap package. We doubted A LOT about what colors to get and I finally went for loud yellow "Totally 80´s" (to make a total Telephone Beyoncé look), a shiny blue "Blue Dude" and, as always, my beloved purple "Rad Purple" (I´ve got so many shades of purple that one day I should dedicate an entire post to my purple lipsticks, eyeshadows and nailpolishes).
Colors are as shiny as they look in the pictures, but I have the weird feeling that the texture varies from color to color. Blue is a consistent nailpolish that can cover it all up in only 2 coats. Purple and yellow (specially that last one) are more liquid and they require 3-4 hands to look nice, I dunno why. The result is cool with any color properly applied.
They wear for soooo long its AMAZING. I have to stress that because a while ago I bought a Chanel nailpolish because it had a fabulous tone (purple, hehehe), and two minutes after putting it on it was chipped. 24 hours later no one could tell if it was nailpolish or dirt. Chanel may be cool but their nailpolishes SUCK.
The relation quality-price is really cool. It´s not like Carlo Di Roma or any other buck nailpolishes that take half of your nail away when you try to wash them and are worth 4,99 dollars (about 4? euros). Milani was used at fashion week this year, so you know they mean business.
Conclussion: Pros and Cons
Pros: good quality-price ratio, long duration, vivid colours
Cons: too many coats depending on the color, availability
