Change the channel part II / Cambia el canal parte II

Hola gente!


Ayer  me quedé hasta las mil y una desvelada, haciendo el mamón y viendo el Rock In Río (L). Entre las 2-3 de la mañana recordé que tenía pendiente la segunda parte del previo post: cómo convertir un Nude en un maquillaje nocturno. Saqué las fotos y las corté para hacerlas visibles (que lleva un montón de rato) así que aquí estamos.

El material que emplearemos será el siguiente (intenté que fuera lo más escaso posible):

1. Sombras de Sephora: Aspen Summit nº23
2. Pincel All Over Shadow nº22
3. Sombra L´Oréal Velvet Grey nº82
4. Rimmel Colossal Volume Express Maybelline
5. Lápiz Luminelle Crayon Khôl 933
6. Eyeliner Line Clubbing Negro Bourjois

Recordemos el punto de partida: cómo conseguir el look nude.

Era un look sencillo para cada día basado en dorados, marrones y tonos carne con mucho Rimmel y creando el delineado a base de presionar la sombra contra la línea superior e inferior. Vamos a transformar esto en un look más o menos sencillo apto para las noches de fiesta.

A. Aplicamos la sombra que deseemos (en mi caso negra-gris Velvet Grey de L´Oréal porque soy una amante del look total black) por la parte externa del párpado haciendo una C que coja la línea superior del párpado y el límite superior del párpado móvil. Estiramos hacia fuera y prolongamos por párpado inferior. Es importante el DIFUMINADO posterior.

B. Una vez difuminada la sombra que empleamos como "base" es interesante reforzarla por la parte externa para alargar el ojo. El refuerzo se hace con una forma triangular en el tercio externo del ojo con la misma sombra negra-grisácea pero cargando más y difuminando menos (sólo por los laterales).

Disculpad el mal difuminado de la sombra previa...eran las 2,30 am

 

C. ¡Iluminar iluminar iluminar! Empleando la misma sombra que usamos antes para iluminar (Aspen Summit nº23 de Sephora) remarcamos la parte interna de lacrimal, párpado no móvil, párpado inferior...y prolongamos ligeramente por la parte interna del párpado superior móvil. Si quereis darle un toque más allá podeis aplicar algo de iluminador difuminado bajo la línea de la ceja.

D. La primera clave del look nocturno: EYELINER. Yo lo aplico del centro del ojo hacia fuera pero sin llegar al lacrimal. Generalmente suelo acompañarlo de eyeliner de purpurina por la parte más interna, pero como este look es más sencillo he prescindido de ella. El gran truco para aplicar bien el eyeliner líquido: paciencia y práctica. Muchos años estuve dejándome el ojo negro antes  de poder hacer algo decente.

E. Para darle continuidad al look es importante el lápiz negro. Para mí el de mejor calidad es el Luminelle Khôl Negro. Para pintar simultáneamente arriba y abajo meto la punta del lápiz en el ojo, lo cierro y lo muevo a un lado y a otro.

F. Difuminad el lápiz del párpado inferior y retocad la sombra de ojos oscura tanto arriba como abajo. Luego el segundo must del look nocturno: RIMMEL y ¡ya está! El Rimmel Colossal da mucho volumen, especialmente si lo aplicamos con movimientos laterales en vez de adelante a atrás.

Y con esto acabamos! Espero que os guste y os resulte útil. Por un motivo desconocido la sombra se ve mucho más clara en foto que en persona, pero os haceis una idea.

Yesterday I was unable to sleep until 6 am, so I was goofing around and watching Rock In Rio (L). Between 2 and 3 am I remembered that I still had to write the second part of the previous post: how to turn a Nude into a night make-up. I took pics and cut them to make them blog-like (which takes a long long time) so here we are.

The material we´ll use will be the following (I tried for it to be as minimal as possible):

Let´s remember where we came from: how to get the Nude look

We had previously made a simple every-day look based on golden, brown and flesh tones, with lots of Mascara and eyeline created by pressing eyeshadow onto the upper and lower eyeline. Let´s turn this into a more or less simple night-life look.

A. Apply the eyeshadow you wanna use (in my case, L´Oréal Velvet Grey cause I´m a huge fan of total black look) on the outside part of the mobile lid creating a C-shape (upper eyeline and upper limit of the mobile upper lid). Continue the C shape on the outside of the eye and lower lid. It´s really important to BLEND afterwards.

B. Once you´ve blended the eyeshadow it´s important to reinforce it on the outer corner to make the eye shape longer. This is made with a triangle shape on the outer corner of the eye with the same eyeshadow you used before. Use more pigment and blend less (only the sides).

C. Illuminate, illuminate, illuminate! Using the same eyeshadow we used on the nude look (Aspen Summit nº23) we retouch the inner corner of the eye, non-mobile lid and lower lid. We should also put some eyeshadow on the inner part of the mobile upper lid. If you wanna make it more special, use a little illumination perfectly blended on the lower line of the eyebrow.

D. First key to the night look: EYELINER. I apply it from the center of the eye to the outside but without reaching the inner corner. I usually use glitter on the inner part of the eyeline, but because this is a more simple look I didn´t put it on. The biggest trick to apply well the liquid eyeliner: patiente and practice. I sticked the damned brush inside my eyes for many years before I was able to make something decent out of it.

E. To give the look continuity the black eyepencil is really important. My favourite one is Luminelle´s Black Khôl. To paint simultaneosly on the upper and lower waterline I stick the pencil inside my eye, close the eye and move it from one side to the other.

F. Blend the lower lid pencil-line and re-apply darkeyeshadow up and down. Afterwards, we´ll go for the second most important thing of the night-look: MASCARA. And there we go! Colossal Mascara gives plenty of volume, specially if we apply it with side to side movements instead of back and forth ones.

And with this final tip we´re done! I hope you liked it and it was useful to some extent! I don´t know why but the eyeshadow looks a lot lighter on the pics than live. Use it as a guide for the look ;)
